Hello all! I am a new member to the forum, but not to muzzleloaders. I bought my first rifle, a .50 cal CVA Mountain rifle in 1977, and have been enjoying it since. I now have 4 percussion cap rifles and a flintlock kit I need to finish. I have been enjoying reading the threads and gaining knowledge. My shooting has curtailed some, because I am running low on caps (I know, finish the flintlock dummy!) I don’t hunt, just target shooting. I learned long time ago that the real work starts when you bag an animal! Much easier to take the paper target down than clean & quarter the elk!
