Welcome from VA. That's pretty awesome that you already have a Kibler SMR. How was your shooting experience? I have the same kit on the way.
The building of the kit was a lot of fun. I used Jim’s YouTube videos as a guide. Some of the more challenging steps for the builds from the videos are now done when you receive the kit (underlugs, breech plug, and tapping the lock). So I thought the kit was relatively easy. Jim’s kits are well built. I was nervous throughout my build but now that I have finished I am impressed with how nice the kit is.

So far, I have zero issues shooting my SMR other than my aim! Lol. That need a lot of work!

Welcome from Da 'Burgh! Not many places around to make smoke. Where do you shoot?
So far I have only shot at a sportsman club near my house. Forest Grove Sportsman. They have Muzzleloader shoots the third Sunday morning of every month. They are open to the public.

I had forgotten all about FGS. I appreciate the info. I shoot at the game lands range in Wexford. 90% of the arms being shot there are all black. :(
