Welcome!!! Awesome rifle, let me know if you plan to shoot Pritchett bullets, I may be of some assistance for molds.

I have an original Pritchett rifle, made by Robert Taylor Pritchett in his St James Street gunworks in 1858.

Welcome from Northern Ireland. Ian and I joined a few years ago. That is another 2UK shooters to add to the list. I shoot a Parker Hale .577 1861, an 1858 smoothy and a 451 3 band Henry. Learned a lot since joining. Rarely does a day go by that I don’t read anything new and interesting here.

Welcome from a location within fifteen miles of Peterborough, Cambs.

If you let us know the serial number of your rifle, David Minshall here, from the MLAGB, would like to add it to his register of Parker-Hale black powder rifles. If you are in any way reticent about doing that, you can PM him here under the heading of Research Press.

I have a P-H Whitworth and Musketoon.
No issue at all

My Rifle is #7549

It has been fettled with somewhat by the previous owner, but is in overall very nice condition
