Lots of country in West Virginia. I'm in northern PA, but have some contacts down that way. I've hunted spring turkeys in Buckhannon and Beckley (Mullens actually), have fished the Smoke Hole area as well as Pocahontas and Greenbrier Counties, etc.. Lots of really beautiful places down there.

Welcome from Pa. I have hunted deer in Tyler Co. Wv a couple years with only a flintlock. Didn’t kill any deer but beautiful to say and lots of mountains and very friendly people!

Welcome, I live in Roane County, close to Walton WV. Glad to see another one of us!!

If you're anywhere near Grant County, they used to hold monthly black powder matches at the public range near Maysville on the 1st Sunday of every month at 1pm. It cost $10 to shoot when I was there about 20 yrs ago. Their club won the state championships a couple times while I was there. You could also buy powder cheaper through them.

Im from Berkeley County. I hunt in Tucker county and go through Moorefield almost monthly.
