Good morning from Florida. I am a retired Marine of 29 years. I have owned weapons and have been a shooter for about 45 years. However, I have never shot nor owned a black powder weapon. It’s my goal to buy a rifle and a pistol this year and become proficient with them. I’m leaning towards the TC Hawken and the 1858 Army Sheriff in .44. I’d love to hear feedback on what a good first rifle and pistol would be. Thank you!
