Flathead, not sure where you are in North Florida, but there are a few of us around here. I am in Suwanne County, Live Oak area. There is a great shoot coming up that you may want to attend, even just to watch. It is the Georgia State Championship and is held in Lenox Ga - Sept. 22-24. That is just north of Valdosta. Let me know if you need more information. If you need anymore help, let me know also. Depending on where you are, we can probably get you fixed up.

Welcome from South Florida! Those Mag Sparks definitely aren’t original but are nice when you can’t get caps! Remember you can always get a Cap Maker from .22 Reloader!

I did but it never showed up. Either way I got the thing off, its destroyed but at least its out. I cant wait to shoot it now. Its a .45 tc hawken from the 70s I believe
In future events of difficult removals...get yourself a can of "Kroil". I haven't found anything to beat it!

Hey guys new member here from N Fl. I have three rifles and cap n balls now and have been into black powder for a while. I do have a question though. I recently got a tc hawken but it has a mag spark on it. I had to look up what they were, but I dont like it nor do I have primers for it. The hex slit in the nipple stripped when I tried to break it loose. Anybody have any tricks to getting it out or will it have to be drilled?
one thing you could to is take it to a machinist or gun smith and ask them to remove the nipple with an ez-out, that might a avoid drilling which might hit hte cylinder,
