Hi All,

I recently purchased a flintlock that I thought was a Civil War relic. In fairness to the seller, the gun was advertised as “Unknown manufacturer, unknown model, unknown caliber”.

The gun measurers 56 inches overall. The barrel appears to be steel and measures 39 5/8 inches. The powder pan appears to be steel. There is no rear gun sight. There are three stampings on the barrel which appear to be a crown with “BP”, another with a crown and a “BV’ and a “15”.

I appreciate your help.
