Two years after posting this thread and receiving great feedback from the forum members, I return. My second hiatus is over. I have procrastinated much too long the selling of my muzzleloaders. They have been so precious to me over many years, so much so that I have neglected doing what I know I must. Now I am getting rather long in the tooth, do not hunt or shoot, have had a recent health scare and a wake up call to action.

I have 14 muzzleloaders for sale. My main concern now is how do I ship them and how do I pack them to protect and prevent damage. I found a thread here that noted to ship in a marx-box. But I don't know what that is. Can someone enlighten me on what type of box that is.

How do other sellers package their guns for protection? How do you ship? Must I use a FFL holder?

I am looking for any help that forum members can provide on this before I attempt any selling activities.

Thank you.
