Good day everyone. I am happy to be online, researching blackpowder guns again after a decade hiatus. My main interest is French guns used in the late 1600s-early 1700s. I am excited to get back to it again and teach my son many of the things I have forgotten.

What models were generally favored at that time? Was there much difference between those used in Europe as apposed to New France?
