I like the Tennesee rifles. Very nice. I just aquired a rifle with a 44in barrel, and I love it. Just had to get used to loading with my elbows up in the air.
Sir
I am sure I will have to Load this rifle with my arms Up in the air as I have a very long pull almost 15 inches and Mike said he had never made a rifle this long before.
"this dang rifle is as long as a country mile"
Terry
I need the same LOP plus I'm a lefty but what a difference it makes when shouldering the rifle when it properly fitted for you!
Mike spent almost an hour fitting me for this rifle.
The only problem we had was finding a Piece of wood that was long enough to get the 15 inches of pull out of.
We must have spent at least an hour looking at wood.

Sounds like the wood was looking for you rather than the other way around- You held out for a fine piece of lumber, enjoy shooting that rifle.

Wow! Fifteen inch LOP! Mine has a 13 3/4in LOP and the rifle is just shy of 60in in length. What is the overall length of your new piece?

I'll tell you what, I'm finding that the longer the rifle, the more appealing it looks to my eye these days.

The rifle is almost 66 inches long

That is a Dandy of a rifle!! I think Mr. Davis is one of the most under-rated gun makers out there today.
I totally agree If mike would market his rifles I really think his rifles would take off.
I value Mike as one of my really true and good friends.

That is only about an hour away. Not a bad ride at all.

How often and when do you shoot over there?

We shoot the 1st Sunday of the month at Byram. A membership in the local range is not required for that monthly event. Just show up and look for the smoke. Generally start for score around noon.
