I like stuff that looks old and worn out (like me) Here's a Haversack and shooting bag that I just got from Jack Hubbard http://s93758715.onlinehome.us/eclg/index.shtml

At this stage of my life (70) I ain't got time to age naturally any new stuff that I get. :shake:

I've aged some stuff myself...got a pail of walnuts n hulls for dyein and my stone driveway comes in handy for distressin wood or leather. Call me crazy :youcrazy: but I don't like some stuff to look new

I'm with you, and at 74, figure I've either got the time to age it myself, or someone will inherit a nice new-looking bag..Hank

Longhunter,
I concur, I don't like "new" stuff either. I recently bought a sword bayonet fer my Enfield, nice and shiney, I took a rust solution to it and now it looks good.My girlfriend couldn't believe I "ruined that beautiful sword" Like the ole sayin' goes. If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand.Nice bags by the way

Gee Ron to see you at Denton hill i would not think your that old of geezer but heck you still can shoot, Art :rotf:
