Hello Lizbeth here.

Started out at the history end and ended up purchasing a 50 cal. Richland Arms percussion rifle.

Enjoyed shooting so much I joined a gun club and am a member of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Assoc.

Been lurking and realized this site is a wealth of information.

welcome aboard lizbeth, your right about the wealth of info here. jump right in with both feet!

Welcome from the Lehigh Valley! :hatsoff: Be sure to add to the wealth of information with your own thoughts and ideas - the "history end" is much welcomed!

(What part of PA are you from?)

Welcome!Looking forward to the sharing of Your knowlage and opinions. How is the Richland Arms .50 performing?
All input can help others here. :front:

Thanks Maestro. I live in south central PA, about 30 miles from the Mason Dixon Line.

Are you familiar with the Blue Mountain Gun Club? It is near Dixon Muzzleloading Shop.

Hello Gordy. Main problem is the patent-breech. The gun likes to be cleand after every 2 or 3 shots so to prevent a clog I put the patch on a slotted jag and run it down the barrell.

Since I am new at this I spend more time getting the gun ready to shoot than shooting. Does not help my time in a timed match, but with practice I hope to speed up.

Thanks for the welcome Walruskid1. Don't know about both feet but will share what I know.

Welcome aboard Lizbeth.
you'll find there's two types of folks on this site, those who are right, and those who agree with me :haha:
The "History end" always adds a nice context to the shooting and is always a welcomed addition to any post,:imo:; look forward to hearing from you

Thanks Snake-eyes. Sure is nice to be here and have more opportunities to learn about the wonderful sport.

I think it is more relaxing than shopping for shoes.
