We are considering having a run of molds made for this Sharps bullet. This is the Richmond Laboratory version and is designed to be used with paper or linen cartridges. Most folks use the ring-tail bullets, but this would offer another historically accurate bullet that uses a different means of attaching to the cartridge tube.

.545 diameter, about 500 grains

Is there any interest in this?

Thanks

I would be in for a tail with no groove for tying. It would make Charlies tubes a breeze to attach with the extra length of the tail. I think there are many other out there that would agree especially in the NSSA group.

If it would take Charlie's tubes and was in .558, I'd be interested.

What's the base diameter? - my Hahn tubes are a tight fit on the .475 base of a Lee ringtail. Are there bigger diameter tubes available?
