New shooter from So Cal

I have been forced into the world of blackpowder !! Our Christmas trip to Ohio falls on the 3 day deer muzzleloading season. Now I got my Lyman 50 cal.out and will have to sight it in this week an the range. My friend John has a farm east of my brothers home in Ohio and wants me to hunt his farm. So I will be lurking around for info and tips. Thanks.

Welcome to MLF. I've found this to be a well informed and extremely helpful group. You might want to do a search of threads for sighting in, there is a lot of helpful information of distance, load, patch & ball combinations, etc. Made my life a lot easier.
