I lost the front sight on my Lancaster. I bought a new one from TVA and finally got it put back on. After taping it around, I thought it looked pretty close to where the old one was. This is the first three shots from 25 yards, with 75 grains of 3f Goex and a home cast 490 ball and red striped pillow ticking. This was shot resting the gun on my back bannister. I am a happy camper!

I don't have a clue. It was so cloudy and over cast that I could not see the 50 yd. target well enough to do any acurate shooting on it. The good part about shooting off my back porch is I can do it any time. The bad part is that it is woods and in the summer it is in the shade all the time and with the cloud cover and my old eyes no chance to find out today.

25 yds is about like the old 1,000 inch range in the army for pre zero at 100 yds. With your load, it should be a bit high at 50 yds and back on around 75 yds, ORMV, but is what I have found to be BP RB close for me.
