New to Flintlock

Hi all. I want to thank the members of this forum for helping me out with another question.
I'm new to flintlock and I just purchased a cased set of reproduction Tower flintlocklick pistol in .50 caliber. These have never been fired and do not have flints. I would like to order some so when they arrive I can go out and try them. Does any one know what size I should order? Also there seems to be a allot of different prices, what should I look for and what should I avoid?
And my last question I have read quite a bit about flash holes. How big of a flash hole should they have and do I have to have a liner. Any pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.

You can measure your lock for the flint size. I would suggest no wider than the frizzen and no more than the distance from the frizzen to the jaw screw at half cock.

@pilot is correct. You need the pistol in hand to measure the lock so you get the proper sized flint. I won't attempt to guess what size you may need. Who is the manufacturer of your pistols?

They are not marked according to the seller.

@utmustang05, Could you ask the seller for the size of the flints in the lock? Perhaps the seller may be able to provide the width of the frizzen at the widest point?
