I just joined this organization, and am looking forward to becoming more familiar with the traditional muzzleloader world. I have been an outdoorsman since youth, and here in WV, we grew up hunting and shooting. I also fished quite a bit, and that lead me into the BASS fishing trails, and also outdoor writing at a local and regional level. Soon came the opportunities to work with sponsors and work the shows at BPS and Cabelas, but now, I am going back to my roots, and recently acquired a muzzleloader. Unbeknownst to me, the gun is a .30 caliber, and has a G. Goucher lock, and from what I can tell dates back to the 1840's. I recently had the gun inspected, and I shot this gun, and got hooked on the "unknown" behind this muzzleloader. Its has the initials C.T.B. stamped on the barrel. I will provide pictures, but now I am interested on this guns origins. I am looking forward to talking with the members on this forum. MG
