Just purchased this at auction really cheap. I do not have it in my possession so these pics are the ones from the auction site. Seller states there are no visible markings. I’ll look under the barrel when I get it. Any way to fix the wood shrinkage around the locks? Soak in linseed oil or anything? Any ideas where and when this was made? I assume Belgian made but maybe US? 33 inch barrels.

Very nice a great keeper
 
The little 1/2 moon dig just above the lock on the right side by the hammer was caused by the mainspring when someone dropped the hammer with the barrels removed. Spring compressed the wood then someone broke the loose piece caused when it did.
Thanks I was curious why that indention was there.
