Hi Folks,
I am a long-time muzzleloading enthusiast. I have built two rifles from CVA kits, a Kentucky and a Hawken. I used to have a T/C .54 Renegade, and hunted deer with that rifle and with my Hawken. Unfortunately, I see lots of deer close to my stand when hunting with my centerfire rifle, but they stay a LONG way off when I have the muzzleloader! Maybe this next season. I just got a great deal on a new Remington 700 MLS, and will probably try hunting all next season with that. Wanted an inline as my eyesight is as good as ever, but my close focue is not, now that I am 56, so I wanted to be able to mount a scope.
I enjoy reading the posts on the forums, and look forward to learning some more about the sport.
