New to the group but not muzzleloading , I started in the early 80s with kit gun s mostly 50 cal , I grew up deerhunting with a cap lock first, the very first Deer hunt I was on I had in hand an old under hammer , next few deer hunts an old cva blazer one of the first crude old style in lines but using caps , my first game species was a coyote using my Cva 50 cal sidelock in knee-deep snow , was actually the very first time I laid eyes on a coyote , my collection now ranges from most every caliber except a .40 cal , I'm a big thompson center fan also , my day job is utility work , and side gig is a Nuisance Trapper .
