just ordered a 1860 uberti from the possible shop. why? cause I want one. I have an 1858 rem. navy also uberti that I really like. just really wanted a colt design, was really torn between an 1861 navy and the bigger 1860, decided I wanted to make more noise. will be happy if I can hit a piece of typing paper at 25 yards with it. I am guessing it will shoot high out of the box. I am pushing 52 years old, and still gotta have my toys. flinch

Totally concur. Exactly the sane reasons why I just purchased an 1847 Walker from Cabelas last week.

Seems like both the 60 army and 61 navy shoot less high than the older 51s with the short beads. They've even started putting taller beads on the 51 replicas in the last couple of years.

I found out that as you get older the toys get more $$$$. Now I understand why most of the sport cars are driven by men my age. Never understood that when I was in High School. I just got a single shot pistol ... they are a blast. Enjoy your toy.

My 1860 shoots pretty dead on at 25 yards. I had to play with the loads a bit to get it in the 10 ring, but eventually...

Have fun! You can NEVER have too many guns!
