Tom, i took it out today and shot it and the elevation is right on. The front sight is a bit taller than the ones they used to put on them. Maybe them Italians finally figured out that they were all shooting too high and fixed that problem. It does shoot about 3" to the right but i think once i square up the notch in the hammer and take a little off the left side of it that it will be fine. Only problem i had with it was the Old RWS caps. Some of them would not go off and i found the primer compuond stuck in the nipple holes. Other than that it worked fine though. Nice little gun.

Are you sure you're fully seating the caps. RWS are a tad smaller than everybody elses and take a lil pressure to fully seat.

Yea, i pushed them down tight. They are RWS 10.75's. Just looked like the priming compound was almost wet on some of them. Maybe being in the capper some of them absorbed some moisture or something.

I agree!I like my Lyman '51 Navy with its nickle-plated square-back trigger-guard!Nice looking and good-shooting revolver!

The Colt's are fine looking revolvers. I like the looks of them too. Still, the best shooting hawg laig I have is the Remington.

I love my Remingtons but one of these days I'm gonna get a couple of Colt's.

I have a '58 Remmy, someday I'm gonna get a '51 Colt, just have to convince the Minister of Sex and Finance it's neccessary.

I'd like to have it fer sure. Hafta sell something first tho and it'd most likely be gone by then.
