Owen, is it all one piece or two parts? If two how did you attach the handle part to the barrel, is that band a weld smoothed out.
If ya don`t mind me asking. :hmm: :grin:
 
It is all one piece. The shaft has a wedge at the moment, a tight fit but will come off as I didnt want to pin it yet till I worked out any problems.
 
Thanks, i`m going to try one like that soon. Soon as it warms up it`s 30 below today so no heating the shop.

Consider not pinning it. It is more convenient to clean with the tiller out of the socket. Just make your wood so it will go in tight. Then give it a little twist to keep it tight. It will not come out from shooting it. You will have to twist it out.
