Wish my video feed stuff was better here at work but it looks like a good movie. I like Ed Harris in the westerns I have seen him in...

 Amen! That should be a great Western adventure---I'll have to make it a point to find out when it opens around these h'yar parts. Thanks for the tip Davy. I just love the sound a double barrel going off both barrels simultaneously. :hatsoff:

It really is good to have a film to look forward to. A rare thing these days. I noticed that Ed Harris' father plays the Judge.

Vigo Mortenson, Ed Harris n Jeremy Irons oh yea I'm there in a heart beat.

There was a film with Marlon Brando called the The Appolossa. I wonder if this is some sort of remake?

Robert B. Parker (Spencer and Jesse Stone novels) wrote the book by the same name and also a new sequel, "Resolution."

Huh? something is wacky here .. earlier you could not write on this thread at all like it was locked ... and so I started one called Apaloosa with this same info about Parker's book ... and now that thread is deleted, and this one is open again for business! Sounds like Claude has been hard at work! :hmm:

That trailer looks fine.
Looking forward to see it.
Only sad thing is that it sure will last until somewhen in the middle of the winter till I can see the film in the german movie theaters.
There isn´t even a start-date fixed for germany as far as I could find out by now. :(

It looks great! Can't beat the cast. When I first saw the title, I thought it might be a remake of the Marlin Brando, John Saxon movie. Not even close. Not the same story at all.

Going by the trailers the movie looks like it would come closer to "Warlock" than anything else.

I noticed that some of the new film is filmed in Dripping Springs, Tex on the latest 2004 Alamo film set! I have been there a few times .. should be a GOODUN! :hmm:

Davy,

There is something of a sentimentalist about me that is glad that set will be used, instead of being left to rot
