We have the same kind of laws, but there is a loop hole. I use antique barrels from guns that are totally ruined or very cheap.

Though I am no fan of firearms registration and strict firearms laws, that still is not enough to make me want to move. After all, we have free healthcare, cheap university education for everyone, subsidized daycare, low crime rate, low poverty rates...... You have to weigh the pros and cons. :hmm:
But still, it is anoying that it is easier to buy heroin than black powder.

Those are cheek stocks. I've seen some videos of them being fired, but don't know where to find them at the moment, but the name implies the function.

The only part of a replica muzzleloader that requires a licence in Norway is the barrel. Since a antique barrel is not a weapons part (by the laws definition), niether is a weapon built around that barrel.
If it ended up in court I'm sure I would win.
