i am new to this and want to make a loading board and i need to know wat size hole to dril to accomodate the patch and ball.

Not knowing what caliber gun you have, I will give you the basic list...

Here's the sizes of the drill bits you'll need for making homemade loading blocks.

Great list! But how could you miss my favorite caliber?

.40 caliber = 27/64th bit
