Greetings from Florida. It’s been many years since I’ve pursued sport shooting but my interest in Civil War (and American Revolution) history has me seriously thinking about getting a BP pistol (or two?). I‘ve ordered a few books (Fadala and Adler) to get me up to speed in the interim. Very intrigued with the Colt 1851 Navy and LeMat, which I think is a very handsome piece (although it seems the loading lever is a bit odd and weak). I can tell I’ll learn a lot here. “I have questions!”

Welcome from NC, and check out Dixie Gun Works out of Tennessee. Very pleasant to deal with and have a large selection and great prices.
