Hi. I've been shooting muzzloloaders for @ 25 years, mostly pistols. Obtaining BP and finding a place to shoot on Maui are problems. I miss being able to shoot at tin cans, in the boonies, that I used to do on the mainland.

George,
Welcome to the MLF,great having you
join us.You about the first from the Islands
than I can remember signing on. Hope you will
visit often and contribute when you can.
I am snake-eyes:hatsoff:

Wow! Just don't make the mental association of shooters in HI. I can see how obtaining BP could be a challenge and a half. Must be a shipping horror story. www.powderinc.com will ship to individuals, but I have no idea what the rate might be for HI. Worth checking it out, though.

Welcome.

PS - Nope. I checked: "48 states" only. Bummer.

You have a problem..... well, I think it is a problem. :haha: Might have to make your own BP.

Good to have you.

George, welcome to the warmth of this campfire.
All we can decide is what we chose to do with the time given to us.
Maui, how are the waves at the moment. :hmm:
Every year we have 'The Colgate World Cup, Sylt',the biggest hitters in Men’s and Women’s Wave sailing.
2006 was a record year for visitors to Westerland with 180,000 spectators making their way to the event site to watch spectacular action from the stylish hospitality area.

:hatsoff:

Welcome George! We saw some wild territory along the Road to Hana several years ago. What do you hunt in those wild and tangled thickets?

When I think of Maui, the last thing that comes to mind is shooting black powder! Good for you my friend. Aim small, miss small!

George,
Welcome to the board. I imagine it would be difficult to get out on the island.
What can you hunt there?
