It's all in pieces right now with its stock getting refinished with some "real gun" oiled finish.

To finally answer that question, today I got around to testing the underside of the barrel with some de-bluing solution, and yes, it does react as one would expect for a rust browned finish....
Question about the barrel, is it a true rust browned? Or does it have the DuroCoat or Cerakote finish to mimic a traditional rust brown? Curious if Pedersoli has gone back to a rust browning process.
