Offering a couple more from my safe clean out. New in Box Uberti 1858 New Improved Navy, 7 3/8 barrel, 36 caliber. Gun has been cocked to test the lock up and timing, which is fine, but not fired. Very nice gun! $375 plus shipping. I will not ship to states where it is illegal to direct ship, so don't ask!

What does “new improved” mean?
I read somewhere that the first repos were made by casting an original, so the frame was slightly smaller than the originals. The "improved" was making the frame slightly larger to match the size of the originals. It could also be the switch to steel frame from the brass frame. Or it could just be Uberti's way of saying it is a 1863 pattern of the 1858 model.

Can we get a front of the cylinder and bore? The Navy Remington’s were scaled properly to their caliber. Not so with most repros, which are made on .44 frames and barrels.

The only 1858 that used different sized frames were the Police and Pocket models. This is the correct large frame. This is also not a discussion forum. If you want to discuss frames please start a thread in the appropriate section.
