This 1803 Harper's Ferry rifle was built by Armi San Paolo. It is in near excellent and unfired condition. Just a few minor scratches and dings. Bore is pristine. Just grease came out. Very nice rifle. $650 + SHIPPING.

There are those who think the 1803 rifle was close to what Lewis and Clark carried. They think Lewis had the US arsenal modify I think it was the model 1795 for his expedition. And that modified rifle was what very soon later became the model 1803. L&C sold their guns when they got back to Saint Louis and they became lost to history, so its all guess work.
