OK. Maybe the checkering on the other Mountain Rifle was a bit nontraditional. Here we have a very well preserved, un-messed-with CVA Mountain Rifle in .50. I would rate at 95%. Browned barrel has some edge wear. Bore is EXCELLENT! 1:66 twist. Marked MADE IN USA. The stock (Judges say Maple) has minimal handling marks. Four screw patchbox with jag inside. Some rust freckling on trigger guard and buttplate. $425 + Shipping.

Is that price firm? This would be my first muzzleloader purchase and want to know I will love it before dumping a ton into it. Thank you for your time.

You will love it or you will get your money back from the next buyer. This IS THE RIFLE TO START WITH.

Many consider the mountain rifle the best production bet around and made in America barrel says you better hurry. Fair price, rare piece and though I have no dealings with the seller MANY here comment he is great to deal with. HURRY. silent PM'S will ruin yer day.

Trying to spend 300$ on my first one and it's hard to find a good deal like that. I would love to purchase just for the right price in my eyes. Also would love Flint but either will do the trick for the whitetail woods I'm taking on!

I have owned a few of these and kept one. These rifles have history of being great shooters. The rifle posted is a good buy and a "get your money back deal"

You'll spend about 30% more in this but you'll have about 100% more in gun and as said it's a money back deal. Cannot believe it's still available myself. I am cutting back and trying to decide which .50 to keep our I would have the money order in the mail. Two of mine are super accurate but not mnt rifle. I should sell both n get it. Anybody seen swmbo around????

If I had the money I would be shooting it today!

I am 50 pour or I would jump on it! As others have said, many a folks have cut their teeth on a CVA and you will be hard pressed to come across another this clean and reasonably priced. I too am quite surprised it has not sold yet.
