Nicholas Lardinois Identification

Helping a friend with some guns. I believe this a a custom gun by Nicholas Lardinois of Liege. The gun has been seriously mucked with. The last 6 inches of the stock have been repaired/replaced. The gun has been relined. One Lardinois mark is on the barrel flat as pictured. There is no Liege proof I can find. The Lardinois stamping on the right side barrel flat appears to be an over stamp. The same stamping is on the underside of the barrel, though it is not an over stamp. The C Pfafff may be a sewing machine manufacturer in Germany at the time Lardinois was working. My assumption is this is a custom sporting rifle made for Pfaff by Lardinois. The gold work, trigger guard and the engraving seems typical of other Lardinois guns. Opinions and information please.

Is that a strange nipple on the snail? And is the hammer cracked, or is it just an illusion? Note the peeling.

I spent a lot of time in Europe and lived in Belgium for several years, but unfortunately have seen few guns by Lardinois ... The "Pfaff" of sewing machine fame was from Kaiserslautern, Germany which is about 50 or 60 miles from the Karlsruhe marking on this gun. I had thought that Lardinois stamped his guns "N.C. Lardinois a Liege", but haven't seen enough to know if he always used this stamping..... and yes, the PERRON mark and ELG should be stamped somewhere on the barrel if it is really the original barrel (maybe under the stock?)

This gun has been seriously messed with. The vent does appear to be a replacement. All the Lardinois I manged to find were signed as mentioned by Olut. There are no marks under the stock with the exception of another identical Lardinois. The carving looks crude but the gold looks like his. This is not my area so anything goes. Guesses facts anything
