Rob,
Nice pictures.....I'm going to have to try
that some time.

There is something magical about a flintlock being shot at night, the very cloak of darkness is beneficial in watching the sparks do their wondrous dance that would otherwise escape our day lit eye...

Mr. Deans,
Really enjoyed the photos. Thank you for sharing.

Wonder how it is "we" don't start more forest fires when hunting and conditions are dry?
Best Wishes

Hey Rob:

Great pics. What kinda camera did you use??
I have a Canon S1IS and am going to check the manual to see if it has the capabilities to do the same.
It is a wonder that we don't start grass fires, eh?

WindWalker,
Great point...After viewing these
photos, I will sure check the ground before
moving on with my F/L. Although a properly
shooting gun with the proper pan charge should
be safe as the powder should be burnt out before
getting to the ground, it pays to be safe.

Gents,
I don't know why BP streamers don't light more fires. I have tried to use bp to light paper already and it just doesn't happen. I was very disappointed. I may even have tried to use leaves. I dont think we have to worry about the streamers starting fires. Now the fiber wads and greased patches that burn completely away on the range.....
God bless.
