Hate to seem like I don't know anything but cannot find the nipple size anywhere for pedersoli double barrel any help would be appreciated

The three pages of Track's listing of nipples includes only a nipple for muskets.

I would think that the nipple is a 6x1.00 nipple, but a call to Track should get you the answer you need.

Pedersoli gives a part number 0800003407 for the nipple, but no other details.

The best idea to find out what the thread size is, is to take the nipple to a good hardware store or a auto parts supply store.

Both places will have thread measuring equipment to determine what the thread size and pitch is.

I own 4 Pedersoli SxS's (I know, I've only got two hands) the oldest from 1978, and the newest from 2006. They all take 1/4 x 28 nipples.

It's counter-intuitive given that they are made in Italy.

I can't even buy .22lr at walmart. Salsesfolk don't even know what that is . They'd never have bp musket cap

I called Track and sent an old nipple to them to match. Got two musket nipples and some musket caps from them. Worked out well!

Back Creek Gun Shop is the place! Jackie is great to deal with, knows the laws for all the states, ships regularly and I have never known him to be out of musket caps as they are his biggest seller. He is a GOEX distributor and always has powder on hand. The phone number in the post above is incomplete and you may have to call a number of times as he farms and also works as handyman. RWS caps $78/1000, Schuetzen caps $70/1000. He can combine caps and powder in one shipment.

1/4-28 I use the 209 primer conversion nipples on mine made for the double barrel 12ga. They work good but need to locktight the plunger so it does not unscrew and get lost.

This chart is on the Mag Spark web sight for their version of 209 conversion nipples.
