Hi, guys

I got a set of Track nipples for a Pedersoli 1858, they sere too soft. After about 200 shots the nipples were riveted enough that capping became a struggle.

The top edges were distorted and uneven. I did not dry fire. I ruined one while filing the cone to the more correct contour.

Who makes quality replacement nipples, size 6mm x.75?

Look for Ampco nipples. Buffalo arms company has them as do several eBay vendors.

Buffalo also carry slixshot. They’re good as well but personally I like the ampco nipples.

You may have got too long come. IIRC older revolvers used a longer cone than the newer ones. Hammer face should barely if at all just touch the nipple.
