Au Contraire!! There is something missing….

One of the greatest parts of Shooting Muzzleloaders is the smell of that Black powder in the air… even from a distance.

Pyro and T7 don’t have it.

Not the same experience for me.

Perhaps I just enjoy the nostalgia and a Separation from the modern era of firearms.

Call me old fashioned…Yet a Real Root Beer(Tho I quit) not diet please. No Turkey bacon for this guy and Real Black Powder… not a substitute.
I can see a market here for Black Powder incense. 😝

I called Hodgdon and asked them. They said that the shelf life of 777 is indefinate as long as the powder has not been exposed to moisture. same thing for pyrodex. I shoot t7 in mine with no issues
Had bad luck with early Pyrodex not lighting off after long term storage. Just saying. Best luck with Black MZ. Others say opposite. I just know what has happened to me.
