Has anyone tried using the NOE Smith Carbine Bullet in an original Smith? I picked up a 4 cavity mold that really cranks them out recently and am curious what powder charge people have been successful with?

Lots of info about shooting the Smith over on N-SSA. Anyone can browse their forum. Mostly target shooters, their charges run in the low 30s for breaking clay birds.

Some cases will hold charges in the high 40s. If I had a Smith that's what I'd want, something to hunt with. The original charge was around 50grs of fine powder. I take that to mean ffffg.

I bought a Spencer and My Accurate Mold throws a 320gr and a 350gr, .515" as cast. I'm lubing boolits today, hoping to shoot it this week
