I have a lot of different wood workshop.
This looked like a lime tree, but I'm not sure...
 
I like yer cup.
But, I hope ye didn't put finish on the inside. If ye did it will just taste awful with coffee. Cold water only. Hot liquids, acid liquids (orange juice, etc.) and alcohol will make all that finish just float on top. Yech. :barf:
My noggin, decades old, is unfinished and I use it for everything.
 
inside - linseed oil
outside - linseed oil + waxed

Linseed oil polymerizes [under the influence of light and oxygen] and then does not change the flavor, even hot liquids...
