Take a look at some of the Scottish games like the caper toss ETC. Most of these games take skill and brute strength but can be skilled back so that every one could play and enjoy.

CaBer toss laddie. Highlanders don't toss pickled flower buds aka "capers", unless they are part of something that don't agree with us when we eat them....

Sorry, Couldn't resist 🤪

Cribbage is popular in my parts. As well as a board game version of horse racing that uses dice and cards.

Can't forget "horse" Racing using stick horses. Or potato sack races.

We also have a 100 lb "cannon" ball that we use in a relay race. It is quite heavy.....but once you oil it up it really hard to hold on to.

Another popular activity is saw buck racing using a couple old cross cut saws.

When I went to Philmont, one of the camps had a soccer ball filled with dirt, and two short stumps about 4-5 feet away from each other. To play the game, we stood on the stumps and would throw and catch the ball back and forth. The man that fell or got knocked off his stump first was the loser. We had a lot of fun with it.
