I'm a longtime in-line/modern muzzle loader who just bought a flintlock and is diving into traditional muzzleloading. I am interested in hunting and shooting. Luckily, there is a very active club nearby, the Grand Valley Cap n' Ballers that I intend to check out soon. I can't wait to join in the fun!

In the meanwhile, I found a NOS Lyman Great Plains .54 fainter in left hand (yes, I'm a lefty) and I proceeded to loose one of the wedge pins at the range yesterday.

Since Lyman is no longer in the firearms business, does anyone know where I can find replacement wedge pins? Are there any equivalent pins that would work?

Thanks!

Welcome from Texas! I think any number of vendors sell replacement wedges. Even if not specifically for the GPR, probably close, with some filing/shaping required. I actually have an old GPR that had one brass wedge when I got it... it still does.
