North Carolina style mountain rifle. 45 caliber. I have not pulled this barrel but I’m certain this is a Douglas barrel 43 1/4” long. 7/8. 45. A Dixie gun works early ketland lock Throws great sparks. Stocked in a hell of a great piece of walnut. I mean it is hard dense great grain flow. rifle is full dress iron mounted. Double set triggers working perfectly. Length of pull 14”. weight 9 pounds Holds real steady offhand. Bore is clean shiny. Now I have tried all morning to get a bore pic but with out a bore light it just can’t get it to come together Priced 1400$ plus shipping to your location

That lock would not be the type of lock truly found on a original Carolina mountain rifle. But when this great gun was built they worked with what they had in prolly 1980s. Chamber late ketland had not come out yet. And it better than a bud siler as far as proper
