Nice gun sir! Never really paid a lot of attention to the Northwest guns, but believe I will very soon. For heaven's sake, if you take it hunting please tell us how it performs. Bet it would be fine for turkey out to 30 yards or so with a tuned load.
 
Nice smoothy. I've never had a North West trade gun but did have a french fusil in .62 cal, I ended up using a .595 round ball 70 grains of 3f and pillow ticking from walley world. (which I never measured the thickness of).
