Once again ”¦ this is not the Olympic-style 22LR rimfire target rifle and cross-country ski biathlon ... these events involve the use of muzzleloading rifles (shooting patched roundball only) while running or walking anywhere from 1.5 miles to 2+ miles through a scenic wooded (and hilly :blah: ) course while wearing wooden snowshoes.

P.S. - Since meeting up with Mario (of 'Le Petit Guerre') I bought a flint smoothbore and LOVE it! I'll be in early 1700s French attire and hopefully using my soon-to-be-completed left-handed Fusil de Chasse from the factory @ Tulle.
