I found on Amazon Northwest Passage, 2 DVD Set (Original TV Series).
Never heard of it before.But when Skagan mention Buddy Ebson...., i searched for the TV Series.Price:$9.98

Undertaker, can't believe no one has responded to your post. with all the ol' codgers on this post, you'd figure somone would remember this show!
I got the first set for Christmas and, thought it's still cheesy, I think it was better produced than the Daniel Boone series. Still can't sit through it though :snore:

Davy, Couldn't agree more. I went through High school watching that movie. My art teacher taped it on one of the early vcrs and he allowed me the priveledge of watching it during lunch in his room. still have a soft spot for that movie and that teacher struck a spark in muzzleloading and reenacting that hasn't gone out yet :hatsoff:
the running joke in that class was "you're not hungry enough yet!" of course he'd say this as he tossed you a paper mache head he crafted just for the ocassion! :rotf:

Definately, I enjoy it. Even though it is a little campy, I find that it's good for just getting away from all the fertilizer that's on tv today. wewlll worth the 10 bucks :thumbsup:
 
I remember this series on tv. I really enjoyed it. I remember one episode when one of the rangers got really drunk on rum, the night before a shooting demonstration with a new type of black powder, and towards the end of the shooting match a bucket of water was dumped over his head demonstrating the powder's ability to be serviceable under wet conditions, more so to help the hung over ranger shooting to sober up some. And of course the rangers won
