Great feeling to see the target fold after squeezing the trigger!Great job!

 good stuff how do you cook those birds(geese) any good recipes??apples and onions??

Great picture! I must be goin' nuts. Long guns look so much better in pics with game than anything else I'n converted!!

I use different wild game recipes all the time. I like best marinating and using a slow cooker or nesco roaster. This batch is marinating now to make jerky. I ground the meat before marinating and will use my oven to dry. Jerky made from ground meat is easier for us old guys to bite and chew! Onions, garlic, apples, pears, raisins and dried cranberries, Ive used them all. The web is full of recipes!

That's just excellent !
:hatsoff:
To me, there's just nothing like taking game with a Flintlock

i'm with roundball! i shoot pheasants with a flintlock. what kind of set up did you use, were you hunting over water? from a layout blind? deecks? etc.

The geese were harvested by pass shooting them between the flowage and a picked corn field. I was standing next to a small spruce tree on the edge of a small planted prairie on our farm. The ducks were jumped off conservation ponds.
