greedy insatiable people dont care about anybody but themselves but make like they care about.
That’s a rather harsh statement. Would you care to elaborate on to just what extent you think others should acquiesce to allow you to have supplies that your unwilling to find for yourself?

That's true, but it doesn't really help the new guy just getting started.
Exactly. Trying to start muzzleloading in the last 2 years has been extremely difficult. I have everything I need now including CCI #11 caps. (I used the .22 reloader setup for half a year) but it took me a full 6 months to find everything I had to have (had my gun for 5 months before I even shot it) and 18 months to track down everything I wanted.

If you have, and he doesn't, you're a greedy, insatiable, hoarder. He wants to be able to walk into whatever store and buy what he wants the day he wants it.

It doesn't even matter how much you have. You could have a half tin of caps and a half pound of powder. It's all about him not having what he wants.

He's been spouting the same drivel on at least two forums for over a year.

Black powder is readily available to order. Percussion caps can be ordered if you search for them long enough. And percussion caps can be made, effectively and cheaply. I don’t see a big problem here.
Well said my friend....

Nothing good comes fast and easy........

Ya think he found anything in the amount of time he's been whining? I guess his time could be better spent,:)

That's what I say. If you want to dance, you've got to pay the band. Some folks just b!tch all the time, about anything and everything. I was taught at an early age, "A bitchin Marine is a Happy Marine". Just don't eff with his wife, chow, or pay.
So very true on all levels , especially the last statement , I found that to be true also.

well this isnt the oprah show and I remember one time you said the survival of your family depended on you having powder and caps

That's true about everything, to an extent. Some people save all their money just to stock up on items. Sometimes that's their only hobby.
exactly. most people work come home tired eat relax and hit the sack. they cant spend all day on the net looking for supplies most dont need

Well said.

Whenever i discover a local muzzleloader newbie who is hurting, i donate whatever he/she needs. Helped several local muzzleloader hunters last fall.
yes spend all your waking hours on the web or online at a gun store just to give primers and powder away. OK I got it now

About a week ago my local Walmart had a dozen or so #11 caps on the rack marked $4.99 . Bought 4 tins.
I make my own and have for around a year now with good results. I use to shoot at the range. and save
bought caps for hunting. use 3 or 4 dots from roll caps. I have found that the caps that are on the red plastic rings, if cut off and placed on the guns nipple it will function also but only with a charge of black
powder. All my failures are with Pyro type powders. You may have to pick the red cup off the nipple or
from under the hammer cup., but thats not a problem when you; are having fun. Hunting maybe a different matter

no I will just piss on your leg and tell you it is raining
I really don't think he's that gullible...are you?

Wow....you just don't get it, do you? However, Karma has a way with folks.

I've given away hard to get items before and that generosity has come back around at the range when I've need help with something.

If all gun owners supported all gun owners, we wouldn't be in the gun grabbing predicament we now find ourselves.

I.G.M. or the I've Got Mine mentality is a terrible trap to fall into.
