You have peaked my interest. I have and old trapdoor with a cut down barrel. I did load some black powder 45/70 rounds for it. BUT, just not feeling like shooting it. BUT, this barrel may be what I am looking for. I will pull it out tonight and compare to your measurements.

Do you by chance have the hammer that goes with the percussion barrel?

No Hammer.

The above rifle looks nice. I am going to pass since I have a carbine stock, between the cost of the barrel, getting it cut down, and a hammer, just don't want to put that much into it. Thanks for all your help.
