Numrich Arms "boot pistol" question.

I got this as a kit 45 yrs ago. When I say kit, it was only needing some sanding and blueing. I am thinking of putting it up for sale but don't know if these are desirable at all or what I should start the price out at. It is a .36. I will try to get some pics up soon. Thoughts anyone?

Edit: for clarification, it is .36 caliber.

They seem to be bringing about $250 or so fully assembled in 45 caliber. I don't know about the 32s, I have never seen one so may be much more unusual.

I’m not much interested in hand guns, and so only paid glancing interest in these.
I was taken aback when I went to the Arabia shipwreck and there were barrels of boot pistols, they were far more popular then I ever guessed

Here it is in parts. I will try to get it reassembled soon and add pics of it. The barrel isn't pitted, just dirty from years of storage. I did have a pistol scope on it some years ago.

My father and I each bought one back in the 1970s. Numrich was closing the stock of complete pistols for $19.95. They jump a bit on firing from the mass of the hammer and the overtravel of the trigger. I took a good amount of metal off the hammer, and made a trigger stop out of metal banding. The trigger stop is held by the mainspring screw.
You really should get a 90* bent screwdriver to use the mainspring screw. The trigger and the spring block straight access to the screw.
Mine is a 45 cal. Shoots well at 25 yards with a.440 ball and about 18-20 thousandth patch over 15 gr fff.

Took about 5 mins to put back together including looking for the trigger return spring that tried to go into low earth orbit.

I was thinking, holes? What holes? Then I realize what you were saying. I was going to come back with some smart alec answer like, yeah that's the muzzle break! No, they do not go all the way through lol.

I measured them and from what I can tell l, they are one eighth of an inch deep, maybe a hair deeper.
