Has anyone bought one from Access Heritage and then drilled out the vent? Is this sfe?

Has anyone used the kit from Track of the Wolf?

Hi Oswald, I bought one about a year-and-a-half ago. I refinished the stock and browned the barrel and lock.I like the idea of drilling my own flash hole that way I know it's in the correct location. The bore is smooth as glass. It is lighter than my pedersoli Indian trade gun. Seems to be a good shooter. See my comments under the venders section and the Middlesex review.

I built one from Track of the Wolf and sold it last year. It was very good, and shot well. I left too much wood on it and sold it for the cost of the parts.
I did it in 36” barrel and found it too short. So I bought pasts for a smooth rifle. I highly recommend Track.
